Bicycle has become a big hobby for me after I realize I can get rid of the car and get by with a bicycle.
I also rode the bicycle to work.

Extensive use of bicycle made me specialize in fixing it as well.
Finally I reached the level that I'm able to build a bicycle myself.

The idea of building a dream bicycle popped in my head.

Riding 22 km to work everyday, both ways, in back ways and off-road, made me conclude I needed a cyclocross hybrid.

I found a Chinese manufacturer of carbon frames, ordered the frame, added a wheelset and all the bits and pieces required to complete a bike.

I wanted a simple setting, not expensive, durable bicycle.

The result was a beautiful cyclocross bike, 8-speed, and a single chainring.

Years later all major manufacturer offered same settings with 11-speed.
As always, the new 11-speed settings also blows the price.
Not sure it worth it.

It was really a dream bicycle.

When I retired and didn't have to ride to work, I settled with my single speed bike (which I also built myself around an aluminum mountain bike frame) and this bicycle - I sold it with a heavy heart.
